Sunday 10th May 2026: Queen Rearing (Practical Workshop)

May's monthly member meeting will be a Queen Rearing Workshop, led by Sharon Bassey. This is to encourage everyone to raise their own queens and overwinter bees and nucs of their own. We will be showing you how to assess your colonies, raise drones, and how to prepare an Apidea. We will show a mixture of queen rearing methods which is attainable by everyone and some more complex methods.
